After years in corporate HR, I saw how often processes focused on policies instead of people. Investigations became battles. Disciplinaries became box-ticking exercises. And employees were treated like problems instead of humans.
NeuroHR was created to do things differently — professionally, fairly and with empathy.

About me
My name is Kelly Topping
Hi, I’m Kelly — founder of NeuroHR. I help businesses think differently about HR, to make workplaces actually work for the humans in them.
I don’t do conventional. I notice patterns, ask different questions, and cut through the noise to what really matters. That way of thinking drives everything I do — and it’s why I care so much about doing HR better.
I’ve spent 20+ years in HR, working in small Lancashire businesses to global Fortune 500 companies. I hold a Level 7 CIPD qualification and I’m currently completing a Postgraduate Certificate in Neurodiversity, because I believe workplaces work better when we understand how different people think and experience the world.
My approach is different: it’s ethical, human-centred, and results-driven. That doesn’t mean soft — underperformance is addressed, but fairly. We understand root causes, build transparent processes, and hold people accountable with dignity. It's calm and fair, clear and practical, grounded in real workplace experience, and focused on understanding behaviour, not just reacting to it.
